A minimum of five entires must be received to make each division valid. Division status (circulation, frequency) is based on the 2007 published Postal Form 3526 filed with TPA.

THE
Texas Gulf Coast Press Association Newspaper Contest is open to all weekly and semi-weekly newspapers who are current dues-paying members for the current year. There are three newspaper divisions: Division 1 Weeklies (2,500 or below circulation); Division 2 Weeklies (2,500 and above circulation); and Division 3 Semi-Weeklies.
